Abstract The objective of the article is to present concept practical consumer ethics, which may constitute axiological basis sustainable consumption and such an attitude that will prevent negative impact food on natural social environment counteract waste. authors consider ethical against background normative pattern consumption, operationalisation development. This implies, one hand, ethics and, other environmentally socially responsible lifestyle. Against this background, postulate frugalism as a based aretological assumptions values Henryk Skolimowski's ecological ethics. Frugalism, in its assumptions, contributes deconsumption by changing system values, attitudes preferences consumer, who voluntarily decides limit amount purchased products, preferring those are recycled more sustainable. comparative statements features consumerist frugalistic attitudes.
